Hundreds of Okada riders protest across Lagos

Hundreds of commercial motorcycle operators in Lagos on Monday morning, embarked on simultaneous protests against the ongoing seizure of their motorcycles by the Police in front of the Abattoir Police Station, Oko-Oba, Agege.

Similar protests are said to also be going on at the time of filling this report in Ikorodu, Igando, Onipanu and Abule-Egba.

The Lagos state government recently banned commercial motorcycle operators from over 450 roads across the state and policemen have been enforcing the ban by confiscating motorcycles of those caught breaking the law.
